Sluggo Watch: Day 126

Between business travels, planning business travels, non-responsive colleagues and clients, a crush of projects, an aunt who accidentally OD'd on pain pills, my birthday, and an ill-advised day off on Monday, this guy just isn't getting it done. The day off was the worst decision I've made in months. Taken in conjunction with my birthday on Sunday, I spent most of the day running errands, waiting on hold, talking to customer service yahoos and catching up on personal chores rather than kicking it old skool. This is how 38 year olds celebrate birthdays and enjoy days off.

As a result of my "slack" behavior on Monday I am getting slammed from most every direction. My client isn't happy. My account director isn't happy. The travel people aren't happy. My aunt isn't happy. And now Paul and his dogs aren't happy.

No justice, no peace.
