The Sock-Puppet Precursor

Sock-puppetry has a pre-cursor. Before resorting to the creation of alternate posters writing in your own defense, one must start defending oneself on the blogosphere in unfriendly territory.

Andrew Sullivan and Hugh have spent the last 4 or 5 days going back and forth at each other. Well, it appears today that Andrew made a point today of posting at Hugh's blog with these several comments.

Now, I could be completely wrong and Andy S may in fact be someone altogether different. If I'm not however, I can't help but think we're on the way to some fine sock-puppet drama!
