Lapped

The Plame apologists have been lapped by the facts and struggle to keep up. It's almost funny.

It's just that some understand it now and choose to slink off and pretend it never happened while others don't even understand...

the Armitage information does NOTHING to the larger allegations of a concerted effort. Well, except maybe SUPPORT them.

A: Well, the story's just gotten so complicated. I mean, it's just such a mess. Because what if it's true that Armitage was the source, but those other guys [presumably Rove and Scooter Libby], also were leakers, what then?

How this is possible when everyone who sat in front of Fitzgerald's Grand Jury apparently has no recollection of any such thing, no evidence of any such thing either written or electronic, escapes me.

It sure sounds nice though.
