The Bush Shill
The Bush shill, Cyrus Nowrasteh spent three hours on the Hugh Hewitt show yesterday answering questions about his "Path to 9/11." As the diligent interviewer that he is, Hugh did finally ask Cyrus about the charge of conservative activism.
His answer? "Read my imdb.com profile." So I did.
In 2002, Cyrus wrote "10,000 Black Men Named George," about the first ever labor agreement with an all-black union. How very conservative.
In 2005 came "Into the West," a story about the settling of the American frontier told through the eyes of two families--one white, one Native American. Again, how conservative!
And of course, now this. I got no impression from hearing him that he was interested in a partisan telling of any particular story, only in trying to glean what we know as "the truth" about 9/11 from a flawed process called the 9/11 commission. Critics should shut up and watch the movie, and at that point feel free to criticize what you've actually seen.
