'M' for "May never catch another break again!"
In USA Today, Energy Secretary Samuel Bodman laid out this optimistic appraisal of the country's energy situation following Katrita's assaults on the Gulf of Mexico:
"We're going to go through a very challenging time the next six months, is my guess,"...a rather vague prediction of things to come, but the folks at USA Today didn't mince words as the wrote the following:
The nation's energy chief says it will take six months for U.S. energy production and prices to return to pre-hurricane levels, and he hints at energy shortages in the interim.
That's the most blunt and pessimistic estimate yet of how long the energy disruptions caused by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita will affect the United States.
Can't wait, can you!?
