Iraq-as-Vietnam...again!

The should-be-but-isn't-House-Majority-Leader, Arizona Rep. John Shadegg (R) believes that the Democrats, should they regain control of Congress, will defund the war in Iraq:

"This is a unique moment in American history," he said. "The transcending issue of our time is to get the American people to understand that we are in a war for our survival. That countless radical Islamists around the world openly declare every day that they want us dead."

And, he thinks the GOP does that job best. "The other team doesn't want to be doing it right now." Adding that the Democratic Party "doesn’t deserve your vote, or your trust” because their plan is to cut and run.

Referencing a recent article in "The Hill," Shadegg said there's "stunning" proof that Democrats "are going to defund the war but they know they can’t tell American people that right now. That ought to scare every American to death."

The Dems continue working their hardest to bring their self-fulfilling prophecy of Iraq-as-Vietnam to fruition. Anybody paying attention out there?
