Memo to Microsoft
I've had a hotmail account for years. It's a quick, easy way to access the world of email and in 1997 I had no other way to join the digital revolution. I've kept it just because it serves as a universal repository for everything I do; all my 'memberships', my fantasy sport-lists and all the other stuff I do goes there. I won't have my job forever and our home email will undoubtedly change at some point in the future as it has in the past.
Hotmail evolved into msn.com; Microsoft's attempt at a Yahoo-like web portal. My wife and I both use it, though she more than I. It is useful, even if it isn't the best at what it does (sounds eerily familiar to critics-in-general of Microsoft's product catalog).
The last couple of weeks, I've run into more 'Server too busy,' errors than I have in the last year. I've reached the tipping point this morning:
Memo to Microsoft: Invest in some servers. It's not like you're one of the richest companies in the world or anything...
