Preemptive Extremism

We're all greeted this morning with the news that Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Connor is retiring. Cue the acrimony, send in the schock troops!

A Supreme Court nomination in today's setting is sure to get testy, to say the least. In an effort to blunt the expected assault from the likes of Senator Shumer et al., I thought I'd get the ball rolling a little early on all the screaming and yelling of 'extremist'...never mind that there isn't even a nominee yet!

"__________ is a right-wing ideologue, unsuited for the High Court!"

"__________ represents a far-right extreme form of judicial thought."

"__________'s extreme views would unbalance the High Court in a negative way."

It's never too early to start with the screaming!

"_______ would overturn Roe v. Wade and deprive women of their reproductive rights."

Among the more clever slogans of the Democrats is "______ is anti-choice." I mean, what kind of Nazi would be anti-CHOICE?

That isn't a slogan, monkey boy, it's a political position. A fascist one, in fact.

You're a fascist extremist.

Per the OP, it's never early to get the ball rolling. ;)

Yea! A comment! I love the smell of fascism in the morning...

OK, so Buch appoints Prior, or Gonzalez or even Orrin Hatch to the supreme court. Roe Vs Wade gets overturned.
That means that whoever replaces W. as the next GOP presidential candidate looses his best means to get people to vote against their own best interest. Probably leading to a Democratic president. But that's not the ironic part. Overturning Roe Vs. Wade doesn't make abortion illegal, it just puts it back at the state level. California, Oregon and New York aren't going to make abortion illegal, Kansas, Texas and Utah are. And guess which of those states have the higher abotion rates per capita? Get out your coat hangers red states. Your reward for putting your religion before your country is that your daughters are going to start dying.
